Ethical to buy second hand shein?

Our take

In a world increasingly aware of ethical consumption, the question of buying second-hand Shein clothing poses a complex dilemma. While purchasing from platforms like Vinted may seem like a sustainable choice, it raises important concerns about supporting a brand with a controversial history of labor practices. As someone who opts not to buy directly from Shein, I seek your insights on this matter. Is it truly ethical to engage with second-hand items from a brand associated with fast fashion? I welcome your thoughtful perspectives.

Hi guys i want someone’s input on this do we think it is necessarily ethical consumption to buy clothes from vinted that are clearly marked as Shein. I myself have and never will buy directly from them because i just dont want to support that kind of fast fashion so i’m wondering what do other people think in terms of the ethics as i know Shein have a history of very controversial labour practices. Thank you in advance any input is welcome.
