Female activewear with 0 synthetic fibers
Our take
Navigating the world of activewear can be a challenge, especially for those seeking options free from synthetic fibers. If you, like Asya, find yourself struggling to locate durable bottoms for strength and cardio workouts that avoid elastane and synthetic fabrics, you're not alone. The search for stylish and functional shorts made from natural materials can feel overwhelming. Let's come together to share our favorite gym wear that embodies both comfort and sustainability, proving that we can prioritize our values without sacrificing style.
Hey all! I really struggle to figure out what to wear for my stregth and cardio workouts. While tops are easy to find, the biggest trouble I have with bottoms. I don't wear leggins/bike shorts (they all have at least elastane in them anyway) but all shorts I can find are made of synthetic fabrics. Surely I can't be the only person on earth having this issue? What are you wearing to the gym that's durable and made from natural fibers?

- lifting clothes, natural or comfy fibers?sorry, the question might be an oxymoron lol. i come from an area where fitness is really big, weightlifting in particular. very familiar with seeing girls wear brands like alphalete, buff bunny, aybl. ie black tight short shorts with a loose shirt. however, i literally hate the fit and material of most of these brands. i may look snatched but plastic fabric digging up into my crack is not ideal. i don’t really want suggestions for “yoga style” brands, like lululemon/athleta/girlfriend collective. nor do i want big brands like nike or adidas. i’ve tried them all and they don’t fit my needs. i want to look fashionable, the look at my local lifting gyms is very done up but physically strong. i also don’t want impracticality, ie my boobs/butt falling out of my clothes, low quality fabrics. thank you!! submitted by /u/miille-fleurs [link] [comments]
- Recommendations for plastic-free activewear made/owned in Australia?Hi folks, I’m slowly de-plasticing my wardrobe and activewear is the hardest to transition. I’ve done some research (and am now getting targeted ads). I know that not all natural fibre products are as natural as they may seem, but -help! Options seem to be: Zone by Lydia (Hemp, organic cotton and ‘minimal spandex’) Merino Country (100% merino) Organic Crew (100% organic cotton, manufactured in Australia/India) WildBody (88% GOTS certified organic cotton, 12% elastane, more detail about fabric online) Bhumi (95% organic cotton 5% elastane) Does anyone have any recommendations for any of these products? I’m specifically looking for leggings/bike short style for gym, cycling and running. Thank you! submitted by /u/Hot_Take_Cake_Bake [link] [comments]
