Got tired of synthetic dresses, so I'm trying to design my own in 100% cotton. Would love some feedback!
Our take
After growing weary of synthetic dresses, I took matters into my own hands and began designing a new piece crafted entirely from 100% cotton. My vision includes a linen-like texture, puff sleeves, an open back with three versatile tie options, and a flattering midi length, complete with hidden pockets for practicality. I’ve just received the first sample, and while it requires some adjustments, I’m eager to hear your thoughts and feedback on this creation. Your insights would mean the world to me! 😊

- Some clothes I've made. What do you like or dislike about the designs/construction?I design clothes, but I’ve made a these for my girlfriend, would love to hear what you think. The first dress is from mulberry silk, and it is a more simple and shorter straight cut. The black slip dress is also from silk, but a bit heavier (25momme). It is cut diagonally (bias-cut) so it drapes nicely on the body and moves more fluidly. It is longer (below knee) and has french seams. The vest is made from virgin wool (around 400gsm), with silk lining. I like how olive and burgundy colors combine. There is cotton interfacing only in front panels. What do you like/dislike?
