I designed this wool vest and would appreciate some feedback.
Our take
I designed a wool vest that embodies a blend of structure and softness, featuring 400gsm virgin wool paired with a luxurious burgundy mulberry silk lining for added contrast and depth. My intention was to create an architectural silhouette that offers both elegance and comfort. I would love to hear your thoughts on the overall shape and proportions. Are there any elements you would suggest changing, such as the collar, length, or flare? Your honest feedback is greatly appreciated as I refine this piece. Thank you!

- Some clothes I've made. What do you like or dislike about the designs/construction?I design clothes, but I’ve made a these for my girlfriend, would love to hear what you think. The first dress is from mulberry silk, and it is a more simple and shorter straight cut. The black slip dress is also from silk, but a bit heavier (25momme). It is cut diagonally (bias-cut) so it drapes nicely on the body and moves more fluidly. It is longer (below knee) and has french seams. The vest is made from virgin wool (around 400gsm), with silk lining. I like how olive and burgundy colors combine. There is cotton interfacing only in front panels. What do you like/dislike? I'll take pictures on the body, to show how it drapes. If anyone’s interested in seeing more of my work, I’ll be posting pictures on ig @bradic.eu submitted by /u/mbradic [link] [comments]
