Paige DeSorbo's Brand Daphne Just Launched Its Fall 2026 Collection
Our take

The launch of Daphne’s Fall 2026 collection, spearheaded by Paige DeSorbo, feels particularly resonant within the current fashion landscape, a landscape increasingly defined by a desire for effortless ease and quiet luxury. The collection’s ethos – "for leaving home, only when you must" – speaks directly to a pervasive mood of wanting to cultivate a sense of sanctuary, even while navigating the demands of daily life. This aligns perfectly with the broader trends we’re seeing across the industry; consider the shift towards low, loose, and undone hairstyles showcased at New York Fashion Week [According to New York Fashion Week, Low Ponytails and Loose Buns Are Replacing the Slick Back Bun for Fall 2026], a visual representation of the same desire for relaxed sophistication. Daphne's approach isn't about chasing fleeting trends, but rather about offering a considered wardrobe solution for a woman who prioritizes comfort and understated style. This is a powerful strategy in a world saturated with fast fashion and maximalist aesthetics.
The success of Daphne, and collections like this one, highlights a growing consumer rejection of overt displays of wealth. Instead, there's a preference for pieces that whisper quality and intention, reflecting a more self-aware and discerning sensibility. It's a departure from the aggressively branded and logo-driven trends of the past, and a move toward a more holistic understanding of luxury. We’ve observed this shift elsewhere too, with brands like Max Mara embracing a stronger, sleeker aesthetic this season [Max Mara Fall 2026 is Strong & Sleek], demonstrating a move away from ostentation and towards timeless silhouettes and impeccable tailoring. Daphne's loungewear-inspired pieces, designed for both travel and everyday errands, tap into this desire for versatile, comfortable clothing that doesn't sacrifice style. The emphasis on feeling “like you haven't left bed” while out and about is a clever nod to the ongoing blurring of lines between home and work, and the increasing acceptance of a more relaxed approach to dressing. The collection also subtly underscores the importance of comfortable footwear – a trend already gaining momentum [12 Fall Shoe Trends Fashion Editors Are Already Wearing], with ballet flats and loafers proving particularly popular choices.
This focus on comfort and versatility isn't merely a reaction to recent global events; it’s a reflection of a deeper cultural shift. Consumers are increasingly prioritizing experiences and personal well-being over material possessions. They’re seeking brands that align with their values and offer a sense of authenticity. Paige DeSorbo's personal brand, built on relatable content and a genuine appreciation for style, undoubtedly contributes to Daphne’s appeal. She’s not presenting a fantasy world; she’s showcasing a lifestyle that feels attainable and inspiring, fostering a strong connection with her audience. The way Daphne integrates into DeSorbo’s personal style is key; it feels organic and less like a hard sell, a strategy that resonates strongly with today's consumer who is adept at detecting inauthenticity. The brand’s success is a testament to the power of founder-as-muse, a strategy where the founder’s personal brand becomes inextricably linked to the brand's identity.
Ultimately, Daphne's Fall 2026 collection reinforces a significant trend: the rise of “calm luxury.” It’s a movement that prioritizes quality, comfort, and understated elegance over fleeting trends and overt displays of wealth. The collection's success begs the question: will this emphasis on effortless style continue to dominate the fashion landscape, and how will brands evolve to meet the evolving needs and desires of a consumer increasingly seeking solace and authenticity in a complex world?
Paige DeSorbo's Daphne released its fall collection today, September 15. It's "designed for travel, errands, and life on the go—without feeling like you've left bed." It's loungewear for when you have to leave the house but would rather stay in.
"This collection is all about leaving home only when absolutely necessary. I have taken Daphne with me in every one of my overstuffed suitcases since launch, and it made me think about the perfect travel outfits—something that would feel like taking your bedsheets with you. We've added thicker ribs, cardigans, ultra-soft sweats, and plenty of matching sets. It's designed for being on the move without feeling like you've left bed. I can't wait to see where you take Daphne this fall. But also, no worries if you don't leave home. We all know I'd prefer that too," DeSorbo shared on Daphne's Instagram account.
Each item in the new ribbed collection is made from a soft fabric that's meant to be comfortable while still feeling put-together. One of DeSorbo's favorites is the Jet Lag Pants—her answer to airport pants. There's also the high-neck Elsewhere Tank, which can be layered with the Layover Cardigan. Shop the pieces below.
