Slow Fashion pet peeve

Our take

In the realm of slow fashion, intentionality is key, especially when each purchase is a carefully considered investment. Recently, I experienced a mix of excitement and disappointment after purchasing my first piece from NA NIN during their sale. While I eagerly anticipated its arrival, I couldn’t help but feel let down by the packaging. Receiving a beautiful item in a plain brown box, devoid of any special touches, diminished the experience.

Ok so I know this seems so minimal and complaining isn’t really necessary BUT, I do really try to be intentional with the clothing that I buy. And as someone who doesn’t have a whopping amount of money I really really look forward to the one or two pieces I consider expensive. For example, I just purchased at item from NA NIN on their sale. My first item from them. Was so excited, went back and forth on it for so long. And I finally did it. I don’t know why packaging matters to me but I do get a little peeved when something costs a lot of money for it to be thrown into a brown box in its original plastic see through sleeve with not even a cute piece of paper wrapped around it. It’s sounds so dumb but maybe just that feeling of wanting it feel special 🤣.
