Spent a week in Kaua’i (northernmost of the main Hawai’i islands), mostly hiking

spent an intense week in Kaua’i for the first time. We’re mostly into hiking and nature, our trip roughly in order of the photos:

- backpacking into Waimea canyon (rare waterfalls due to recent rain)

- hiking over the top of the Napali cliffs (Nu’alolo-Awa’awapuhi loop)

- backpacking to the remote Kalalau beach along the Napali coast with a stop at several waterfalls (pictured is Hanakoa falls). lots of wild goats along the way including this kid!

- hiking (more like bushwhacking and river-wading!) to a mystical spot called the Weeping Wall of Mt. Wai’ale’ale where waters seemingly pour right out of the cliffside

happy to share tips / advice! aloha 🌺
