Travel to Nicaragua

Hi! I’m a 25 y/o female and a group of my friends are going to Nicaragua in a few weeks. I told a few other people about this and they seriously told me to reconsider given the travel advisory, health concerns, and safety concerns. I definitely will stick out as a tourist based on how I look. I’m honestly not quite sure what to do. Anyone been there recently? Thanks 💖
