Molly Sims' Beauty Routine Is Elevated Yet Simple

When someone’s selfie makes you scroll back, you want to know the beauty products responsible for the double take. Inquiring minds get answers with TZR’s The High/Low series, where we ask our favorite tastemakers to reveal both the splurge-worthy and wildly affordable staples in their routines.
Molly Sims doesn’t believe in gatekeeping. “I’m so inspired by the transparency in beauty right now, especially seeing influential voices in beauty and pop culture openly share what they’ve done and what actually works for them,” she tells TZR. “That mindset is one of the reasons I started my podcast, Lipstick on the Rim. I wanted to pull back the curtain — to share the latest facial I tried, the best place to get Botox, the treatments that are worth it and the ones that aren’t — so women feel informed, empowered, and in control of their own choices. Beauty should feel inclusive and honest!”
The model-producer-actor’s skin care journey also inspired her brand YSE Beauty, a line designed for those who are too busy for an extensive daily routine. The simple yet effective products are made with tried-and-true, clinically-backed ingredients that support the skin barrier, and above all, make you glow. (Case in point: YSE’s latest launch, the Xtreme Glow Dewy Peptide Plumping Serum.) “I also believe beauty should fit into your life. I’m a mom, I run a business, and I sometimes double as a lacrosse coach (I wish I was kidding!),” Sims shares. “I don’t have two hours to get ready. My routine has to work hard and deliver results. This is one of the reasons why I started my beauty brand YSE Beauty. It’s about smart products, consistency, and small rituals that make me feel put together.”
This simplicity ethos extends to the rest of Sims’ beauty routine. “Healthy, glowy skin is the foundation for everything,” she says. “When your skin feels good, you need less and that means less makeup, less covering. That’s where confidence really starts.”
Ahead, Sims shares the luxury and affordable makeup, hair care, and skin care products she relies on for her signature “elevated but never overdone” look.
