Please advise a clueless husband

My wife uses one of these to dry her hair. I would like to treat her to an upgrade, would a Dyson Airwrap do the same job as one of these? And would it be better/quicker? If so what model would do the job that this does?

If it matters, she has long blonde hair that has a slight wave to it. She doesn’t straighten it.
